SUBJECT:  Minutes of Mismanagement Meeting – 23 June 2010
 
1.       As announced at the last Hash, a mismanagement meeting was held at Qendra Kristal at 1830.  Purpose of the meeting was to assess progress of planning for the 800th Hash and lay out locations for hashes for the rest of the summer.
 
2.       The following people were in attendance:
a.      Mike Simonich

3.       The date for the 800th hash is Saturday, 24th of July.  Hashers from Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Greece and Croatia will be invited.  Hash location will be Liqeni i Gurres.  We are checking to see if we can do a barbecue at the lake after the hash.  In the evening we will have a party – dancing, drinking, etc, location to be determined.  On Sunday we plan to gather at a swimming pool near Tirana, perhaps have a “hangover” hash prior to swimming/eating lunch.  Location suggested is Stella beer garden on the Durres highway near QTU.  We are also looking to design and purchase T-shirts and perhaps key chains to commerate the hash.
 
4.      We will set a date, probably a week prior to the event, by which time we will need confirmation of your attendance at the 800th hash so that we can make sure we have the proper amount of food/beer/sodas/t-shirts, etc.  For planning purposes we foresee about 100 people. 
 
5.      Responsibilities:    
a.      Eni Xhferraj – Prepare hash logo/design for T-shirts and key chains, draft invitation to hashes in neighboring countries.  Post logo options on hash web site so people can vote on preferred logo.
b.      Jonida – Find supplier for t-shirts (cost for planning is around 800 lek), and other giveaways (such as beer mug, coffee cup, key chain, simple back pack bag, headband, other ideas?).   Check http://www.gthhh.com/Marketplace.aspx?gk=?gk={ouisaliy:yfmu854443424
c.      Berti/Fation – Lay out the trail for the hash – 2 trails, one walking/one running.
d.      Volte – Make arrangements for the barbecue at the hash.
e.      Mike Scanlon – Develop appropriate religious activities for the event.
f.       Kloida – Make arrangements for Saturday evening party, perhaps at Imagin bar in Tirana Hotel.
 
6.      Need volunteers for following:
a.      Make arrangements for Sunday pool/lunch event.
b.      Develop list of hotels with telephone numbers/cost of room/location to send to neighboring hashes.
c.      Find sponsors for the event.  Sponsors will then get the name of their business placed on the t-shirts.  Possible sponsors – Kaon Beer, Tirana Beer, Stella Beer, Klan TV, TVSH, Embassies, Restaurants, Hotels, Sport organizations, travel agencies, banks, etc.  Ask around!!
d.      Transportation of equipment/beer etc to hash site.  4x4 would be welcome.
 
7.      Other ideas
a.      Maybe a tent (stand up room) with small table, chair(s) to act as headquarters at the hash site.
b.      Invite the press/TV?
c.      Suggestions???
 
8.      For planning purposes Hashes for the remainder of the summer are listed below.  This may change, but for now, this is it!  Need volunteers for hares – please contact Berti.
