*live* HARE: Gladiator

Where: Priska e Madhe

Directions: *To ensure that you go to the right place, please meet with the Hare at the usual Hash meeting place and make sure you follow his vehicle. The directions below are tentative.*

Driving towards Mount Dajti, past the village of Linza, you will reach the village of Surrel. 200-300m after the village, there is a right turn downhill on a paved road. Take this road to the village of Priska e Madhe. The hare will show you where to park and lead the way.

NOTE: This website claims to have a google map of the location of Priska e Madhe village, NOT the hash route. http://www.maplandia.com/albania/tirane/priska-e-madhe/

Hi Guys: David Lewis here, Hash name Crazylegs (the guy who loves to dance salsa). Loved Hashing with all of you when I lived in Tirana 2003-2006, and worked at the US Embassy. Tomorrow (January 16) will be my first trip back to Tirana since 2006. Would love to see old friends, but won't get to town until probably 15:00.

Any of my old friends still around? Would love to say hello this weekend. Email me at lewisdr (you.know.what.sign.comes.here) state.gov, or (Ukrainian) mobile, +380 50 443 9640

Hi Guys:
After 3 years since I left the Tirana Hash for Ukraine, I am delighted to be coming back tomorrow, for the weekend.
I would love to see you all, but won't get to town until 15:00 on Saturday.
Anybody around? I'd love to see you.
David Lewis

congratulations to all who joined Hash 772, which could be renamed as the Dajti Scramble. My GPS device says that we climbed over 3,000 feet (913.8 m to be precise) higher than the starting point, from 182.4m to 1096.2m. Hope you all had fun!
