Reminders

  • We leave at 11:30 AM from Archea Bar aka France98 (behind pizza Kolonat). Participation costs 200LEK. In exchange, beer, snacks, and water will be provided
  • Use sunscreen & drink lots of water.
  • Make newbies familiar with hash procedures and trail markings. Have them read our notes on common sense hashing and stay with them so they don't get lost!
  • Use your common sense to judge whether the people appearing on your pictures would object to having them published on the Internet.

Dear Tirana Hashers,

This week's hash will be a "live hare" hash at the Bishti i Palles beach. Miranda (no hash name yet?) has volunteered to lead the way bravely through Durres to the beach. Once at Bishti i Palles, I hear there is quite a bit of exploring to do.

DIRECTIONS:

1. meet at the usual place in Tirana at 11:30 and follow fearless Miranda.

OR if you are feeling a bit bold and want to do some orienteering:

2. Drive to Durres, to the roundabout near the train station. Take a right, near the cemetery of martyrs (Varreza e Deshmoreve) near the police station. It should be a straight ride to the beach from there.

If #2 does not get you there, as an Albanian saying goes, "Asking you can get to Istanbul!" (Substitute Istanbul with Bishti i Palles)

who wrotte the hash notice this time? I see some diferent humor from our dear pilot.I see some albanian also. anyway thanks and good luck to the brave Miranda. On On FuzzyT

it haven't been me I swear on my wings :P , but everyone knows that pilot hold the humor for the field and on preparation notice always prepares people so they wont have any unexpected conditions & surprises during the trail :D . peace people ^^ and arigato :P

PS: Dear hashers we recommend you to remember/apply our every hash post boring advices, about dehydration, sun heat stroke, and not leaving a hash mate behind you. Be a responsible team mate. You will have more fun always if everything goes in the best way, that's for sure :D .

boys boys boys - who else could it have been?! the website used to show who posted the hash notice (I think... right WebWimp?) and I thought some mystery might spice things up a bit.

definitely follow the guidance on self-preservation that are automatically added to the start of every hash post - thanks to our amazing webmaster (and genetically available as our survival fight-or-flight defense mechanism).

now you know who the writer HERself was - see you this coming Saturday.

I'm soooo blushing after that compliment :)

I honestly believe it's not that important to show the poster, as the Pilot and E.T. styles are so unique. But it can be done - the only reason why I de-programmed it is to lessen the unimportant details at the beginning of the hash notice.
