hash 744 - Brarri Splash!! ... and, alas, our last Tirana hash!

It's hard to believe, but after three years, the time has come for Totally Pointless and I to say goodbye. This will be our last hash, since we will be involved with election-related work next Saturday.

It's been an incredible pleasure hashing with you all. We will miss you.

Hare: BeerSkuller

Where: take Rruge Dibres northwest, pass on the left side of the large cemetery, cross the Brrari and continue through the canyon until reaching a large bunker building on the left and a quarry.

We will walk about two kilometers downstream, enter the river and swim/crawl/float upstream to where the cars are parked.

We suggest water moccasins or old sneakers you can wear in the water. Also, unless you are a very good swimmer and not claustrophobic, you should bring a flotation device. Kids will certainly need a life vest or floaties in some parts of the canyon since the water is deep and the sides have no hand holds.

This is the best way I've seen to cool off on a hot summer day. There are pools, small rapids, waterfalls, caves, and a long canyon with steep walls where you can't touch bottom.

If you bring anything that shouldn't get wet, make sure it is in a waterproof container.
