HARE: BeerSkuller

WHERE: The south side of the mountain that Pellumbas cave is in. We will be just above the site where Hoxha’s gold supposedly was hidden.

DIRECTIONS: Go south out of Tirana toward Elbasan. In Ibe, turn left at the big rock and sign for the Kame restaurant. Follow that road up the mountain past the village of Pellumbas, then past the quarries. The parking site is about 10 km from the turnoff.

DESCRIPTION: A relatively easy trail for the walkers – relatively flat easy to follow trails. Something a bit more challenging for the runners – steep slopes, loose rock, thorns, mud - and a great place for a picnic lunch by the river! Views should be superb! The water may be warm enough to swim in. We will look for an easy trail to a magnificent waterfall inside a cave - no guarantees we can find it!
