HARES: Gladiator and Twin Towers

DESCRIPTION: Typical hilly terrain, with some loose gravel, brush, and thorn bushes. Probably suitable for most hikers. Wider jeep trails are also in the area.

WHERE: A small reservoir in rolling hills less than an hour from Tirana.

DIRECTIONS: Take Kavaja Road past the Kombinat and past the old cemetery. From the cemetery, go another 2.9 km and look for the hash cars. We will assemble on the right side of the road. (Note: do NOT cross the Erzeni river!)

The water should be clean enough to swim in.

Great hash thanks to Gladiator and Twin Towers! Only 14 km from downtown Tirana, with great views, clean air, and a nice, clean reservoir to swim in! Easy trails through old-growth olive groves. Add this to your list of places to return to.
