Webwimp's greetings, and new year's resolutions for the hash website

Hello hashers and greetings from Webwimp for a happy new year! I wish all of you to be happy, successful, fit, to have fun, and to never stop exploring!

It's quite a while now that the website is up and running; from the statistics it seems like it's doing its job well. We're having around 400 visits a month, which means almost each one of you is checking the site every week. It's a good number that warms my heart more than the gluhwein I'm drinking right now :) BIG thanks especially to Beerskuller, who has, from day 1, dealt single-handedly with all the site updates.

There is one thing missing though. Pictures. Please let's try to fix this. The site is built to handle pictures automatically. You only need to put them somewhere on the web and paste the link in a comment on the website. Picasa and Flickr are both ok and slideshows can be created automatically by the website as soon as you enter a link. If your pictures are somewhere else, fine - just paste a link to the album. Whichever way, please do put something on here. It will be your album of pride, the proof of you overcoming the physical difficulties, the anxiety, and of reaching for something more than life behind a desk. It will be good for new hashers to see the difficulties of specific trails, to decide whether they can handle it or not, and to see that the reward of a beautiful sight, a good workout, or a cool swim, is indeed worth the thorns, mud, heat, and everything they may have to endure.

Finally, as a personal favor to me and to the other Tirana-hashers abroad, please do put some pictures so we can relive those emotions and sense of friendship and adventure that kept us high every Saturday. Give us a chance to tell people here: "Yes, that is what I love to do, that is my beautiful Albania, and those are my friends - the coolest people ever!"
