You are here"... so, where do you guys go on all these hashes?"
"... so, where do you guys go on all these hashes?"
I finally assembled the tracks and GPS coordinates I use to plan and find our hash sites. These are not all of the hashes, since some have been in the same place as previous ones. Anyway, it's an impressive collection!
If you want to get more into the mapping and GPS part of this, first download Google Earth from the Google/Maps website. Then open the MyPlaces.kml file attached to this notice. You will then be able to look at all the hashes individually, turning each one on or off with the check box.
To download hash routes and points to your GPS, you will probably need third-party software to convert the file. I use GPSBabel (freeware, http://www.gpsbabel.org/) to convert the .kml file to a .gdb or .gpx file which Garmin recognizes. I then use Garmin's MapSource or TTQV/Pathaway to upload the file into my GPS.
Let me know if you need any help - I'll try to talk you through it.
