Hello Hashers ! This gloomy weather Saturday our help is needed to bring sunshine on another spot we going to hike. This Saturday we heading to Marikaj Lake.

Where: the village/lake of Prush

Directions: *To ensure that you go to the right place, please meet with the Hare at the usual Hash meeting place and make sure you follow his vehicle. The directions below are tentative.*

Hare: Gladiator and friends

Where: The castle of Dorza near the village of Peza

Directions: Take Rruga e Kavajes towards Durres. There is a primary school near the Peza monument. Turn left on an un-paved stony road. It's probably best to follow Gladiator from the meeting point.

NOTE: Although the weather forecast for Saturday is quite good, in case of heavy rain the Hare will still attempt the hash. To make sure, pleas meet at the regular meeting place at 11.30.

PLACE: the village and lake of Gurra

HARE: Gladiator, Navigator's Navigator, Navigator

HARES: Slipper, Pickle Pants, Will (unofficially Antman), Elona

DESCRIPTION: A hash recommended by BeerSkuller for a repeat. Typical hilly terrain, with some loose gravel, brush, and thorn bushes. Probably suitable for most hikers. Wider jeep trails are also in the area.

WHERE: A small reservoir in rolling hills less than an hour from Tirana. The water should be clear enough for a swim.

Note: Heavy or persistent rain will cancel this hash. If the weather is questionable, please check this website after 8:00 AM on Saturday for a weather update.

IMPORTANT: now that it's starting to get warm, please take a moment to review the documents under the tab "Common Sense," especially the one on heat exhaustion. Also, you should be using sunscreen on every hash.

DESCRIPTION: Typical hilly terrain, with some loose gravel, brush, and thorn bushes. Probably suitable for most hikers. Wider jeep trails are also in the area.

WHERE: A reservoir/lake for swimming near Peza - bring swimsuits, towels, and water shoes (rocky shore)

DIRECTIONS: Take the Kavaja road toward Durres past the Kombinat area. Pass the old cemetery and continue toward Durres until you see the sign to Peza (about 8.2 km from the cemetery). Turn left and follow the road for 4.4 km. Turn left on to a gravel road (if the hares feel generous, they may put a sign of some kind at the turnoff). Go about 3 km east to the parking area.
