As you read in the last email, there will not be any more email reminders from Beerskuller - we will have to actually check the website.

After enviously watching everyone else go on vacation, it's our turn! Totally Pointless and I will go to the US to visit my daughters and grandkids. We will be gone from August 30 through September 21 and will miss the next four hashes.
You know what that means: no beer unless you bring it yourself.

hash 709 - Rodon north side

HARES: Gladiator and Twin Towers
DESCRIPTION: Nice beach with great views, with hiking trails into the rolling hills of Cape Rodon.
WHERE: A very secluded beach on the north side of the Rodon Penninsula.
hash 708 - Allgjate
HARES: Gladiator and Twin Towers
DESCRIPTION: Typical hilly terrain, with some loose gravel, brush, and thorn bushes. Probably suitable for most hikers. Wider jeep trails are also in the area.
WHERE: A small reservoir in rolling hills less than an hour from Tirana.
"... so, where do you guys go on all these hashes?"
I finally assembled the tracks and GPS coordinates I use to plan and find our hash sites. These are not all of the hashes, since some have been in the same place as previous ones. Anyway, it's an impressive collection!
hash 707 - Rodon Penninsula
HARE: BEERSKULLER
WHERE: on the south side of Cape Rodon.
DIRECTIONS: Take the highway toward Durres. Pass Vore and watch for the Maminas exit. Take the exit and head north on the main road. Unless you have a GPS, you should make sure your are following someone or you will surely get lost.

It's the morning of my first day in Germany - what's better than starting it by writing a message to the Tirana Hashers?
hash 706 - Plazhi i Gjeneralit
HARES: Gladiator, TwinTower, + ??
WHERE: a beach south of Durres, between Karpen and Spille
DIRECTIONS: Take the main highway south of Durres. About 20 km south of Durres, near the town of Kavaje, turn toward the beach at the sign Synej-Bogo. Drive time from Tirana is about 90 minutes. This will be hard to find unless you have a GPS or can follow someone.
hash 705 - Patog
HARES: Gladiator!
WHERE: A beautiful coastal area just north of the Rodon penninsula and just south of the Mat River estuary.
DIRECTIONS: Follow the Durres highway to the airport turnoff, toward Fush Kruje and take the road north to Lezhe. Go about 17 km and look for a sign to Patog. Take the turnoff and wait until the lead car catches up and can lead you to the exact site.
